POSITION SUMMARY
Direct Support Professionals (called Resident Living Assistants) provide care and support for the adults with disabilities who live at David’s House. This includes personal care for some and friendship for all. RLA’s are there to support our residents in living life to the fullest!
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- NO EXPERINECE NEEDED!
- DHMIN provides on the job training
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a willingness to learn
- Ability to adapt working on a team or alone
- Ability to remain calm in an emergency
- Valid State of Michigan Driver's License
- Commitment to scheduled shifts, assigned duties, and performance expectations
- Full-time & Part-time available
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available
- Pay is based on experience, up to 16.00/hr
- Shift premiums for 3rd shift and weekends
